About the Club
Dundee United Community Trust aims to work with Dundee United Football Club improve the lives of people in Dundee and the surrounding areas.
Formed in 2017 as the Official Charity of Dundee United Football Club, the Trust engages with people in a variety of ways to stimulate an environment in which each individual can realise their potential and subsequently accomplish more in whatever walk of life they chose. Since its inception, the Trust has invested over £1.3m into our community.
Dundee United Community Trust has received regional, national, and international recognition for its work. In 2019, the Trust won Best Community Football For All Project in the Scottish FA East Regions Awards, and then won top gong in the Scottish FA's national Grassroots Awards, being named Best Professional Club in the Community. Further recognition followed in 2020 in the form of Best Para-Football Project in the Scottish FA East Regions Awards and Best Professional Football Club (Bronze Award) in the UEFA Grassroots Awards.
DUCT is also one of only seven charities in the country to have received the Good Governance Award - the Quality Standard for Scottish charities, recommended by OSCR - having met the criteria of the award in 2019.

Junior Academy - 11 to 14 years - Wednesday
Our Junior Academy is a fun football coaching programme for boys and girls aged P1-S2, that aims to develop both football and social skills of children of all abilities.
Thanks to our fantastic and committed team of Scottish FA qualified coaches, Junior Academy provides the perfect environment for children to thrive, improve their footballing ability and meet new friends, whilst also:
- Introducing children to football
- Preparing children for team football
- Providing additional, high-quality training for players within grassroots football clubs
Our 11 to 14 years sessions run:
Every Wednesday - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
Every Saturday - 10am to 11am

Tiny Tangerines - 18 months to 3 years - Friday
Tiny Tangerines is a physical literacy programme that provides a fun introduction to football for nursery aged boys and girls. Tiny Tangerines sessions focus on:
- Developing basic motor skills - balance, co-ordination, reactions, and reflexes.
- Developing fundamental movements - catching, jumping, kicking, running, and throwing.
- Developing social skills - communication, confidence, cooperation, listening, and sharing.
Thanks to our fantastic and committed team of Scottish FA qualified coaches, Tiny Tangerines provides nursery aged children the chance to meet new friends and build relationships with their parents/carers in a fun and safe environment.
Our 18 month to 3 year old sessions run:
Every Friday - 10am to 10.45am
